Truancy

Truancy is Erik Alcock, a Canadian songwriter and producer who has written for Eminem, Celine Dion, Pink and Pitbull among others. He has written and played on two Grammy award winning albums (Eminem’s Recovery and his Marshall Mathers LP 2, both of which won Rap Album of the Year) as well as playing and writing on P!nk’s Grammy nominated album The Truth About Love. Recent releases in which Erik is credited include the title track Courage and the track How Did I Get Here by Celine Dion. He is currently signed to Universal Music Publishing.

Erik is a member of the collective The New Royales with DJ Khalil and has recently moved to the city of Berlin, Germany where he formed a production partnership with UK producer P*nut and a studio project, Lo-fi Hero.
